 | A most uncommon item this plate in continental bone china measures 240mm/9 ˝” in diameter. In the centre is the Nazi flag flown from German warships above which is in gold is the Nazi emblem of the eagle over the insignia. Below is a “winged “anchor with sprigs of acorn branches either side. The inscription around the rim I think roughly (probably very roughly!) translates to the Navy is watching over the North Sea for the Fatherland. |
