Large bone china plate by Caverswall measuring 270mm/10 ½" in diameter. In the centre in a circular wreath is a sepia photograph of Mountbatten with a Naval crown above and in a ribbon below "In grateful remembrance". On the border are four medallions. On the edge are four naval crowns and details of his life and achievements. In memoriam to Louis Francis Victor Nicholas 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma Born 25th June 1900, killed 27th August 1979".
