 | In superb condition this plate measuring 200mm/8” in diameter and has a black rim. In the centre of the plate is a coloured portrait of Edward in red military tunic. Above him is the inscription “HM King Edward V11” to the left of the portrait the inscription “born Nov 9 1941” and to the right of the portrait “Died May 6 1919” Below the portrait “Accession Jan 22 1901” Within two bands o gold encircling the border is a garland of green acanthus leaves. Probably the best condition of this plate we have seen! |
