| Very rare dish to mark the announcement that HRH Prince Charles was to become the Prince of Wales. HM the Queen made the announcement at the closing ceremony of the British Empire and Commonwealth Games held in Cardiff in July 1958. Made of pottery, this is the only ceramic item known to mark this event. |  |
