 | GEORGE V, TSAR NICHOLA, KING OF THE BELGAINS, PRESIDENT OF FRANCE – 1914.
In the centre of this plate is a small wreath of national flowers hand coloured with the inscription “The Allies” within. Around the wreath are four circular frames containing teh four black and white portraits. Behind each leader is the national flag of their country in enamel. Between the flags at 12.00 is 1914 on a yellow background.
This is the best example I have ever seen of this plate obviously having spent its life in a cabinet and out of direct sunlight. |
