Death of Edward VII Plate - [Item Number 1834]
An excellent example of a commemorative produced for this sad occasion.

S W Dean in Burslem Staffordshire produced this pottery plate. Although a popular King, little was produced for the Kings death.

Whilst the King spent a lot of time in Paris at this period of his life, he actually died in Buckingham Palace.
