| Rare plate by Blairs china. Measures 180mm/7” in diameter. The gilded rim is decorated with a diamond shaped pattern alternating in green and gold. Around the plate are four medallions. Two contain pictures of the King and Queen with their medals picked out in gold. Another has St George slaying a dragon, which is picked out in gold. The final medallion has the inscription “Coronation Year 1902 Edward and Alexandra King & Queen of the British Empire”. Between the four medallions are four items of coronation regalia. |
